Leapton Energy specializes in the production of high-quality Tier-1 solar modules, with its headquarters located in Japan. Currently, Leapton Energy’s products are available in more than 50 countries. With over 10 years in the solar energy field, Leapton Energy has built a solar module manufacturing base, Leapton Solar (Changshu) Co., Ltd., in Jiangsu province, China.
Leapton Energy produces high-quality solar modules with a 25-year product warranty, a 25-year power guarantee for standard modules, and a 30-year power guarantee for bifacial and N-type modules. Leapton can provide the most suitable modules for each solar system.
Headquarters – LEAPTON ENERGY CO., LTD was founded in Kobe, Japan, in 2012. It focuses not only on the R&D and sales of solar energy systems, solar modules, mounting systems, and ground screws in Japan but also on the development, management, and aftercare of solar power plants. Leveraging its resources, Leapton has built over 60 solar power plants across Japan. A Tokyo branch dedicated to solar panel sales was established in 2015.
In 2012, Leapton established its Chinese headquarters in Shanghai – LEAPTON ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD, focusing on the development and sales of the Chinese PV system. The module factory – LEAPTON SOLAR (Changshu) CO., LTD, was founded in Changshu, Jiangsu province, in 2017, focusing on the production and global sales of solar modules.
With the world’s most advanced automated production line, the annual production capacity of the module reached 600 MW in 2020. The products are manufactured according to strict Japanese industrial standards, making Leapton one of Japan’s top ten module brands and consistently listed in Bloomberg’s Tier1 for several years. The project was divided into two stages in 2019, covering a total of 72,000 square meters. Since the beginning of 2021, the first stage of the 2 GW factory has been completed, and Leapton Solar enters the GW era. The second stage, the construction of a 3 GW factory, was completed in 2023.
